We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Specialist who can manage our social media platforms, create engaging content, and develop strategies to enhance our digital marketing efforts.
Job Overview:
The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for managing NASUAK Garments Ltd’s social media presence across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others. The ideal candidate will develop and execute social media strategies that align with our brand goals and objectives, creating content that resonates with our audience, and driving engagement and conversions.




Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to align with NASUAK Garments Ltd’s business goals, increasing brand awareness, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Content Creation: Produce visually appealing, relevant, and engaging content for social media platforms, including images, videos, graphics, and written copy. Content will include product showcases, behind-the-scenes content, customer testimonials, promotions, tutorials, and more.
- Content Scheduling and Posting: Plan, schedule, and post content on various platforms using social media management tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or others, ensuring consistency in posting frequency and timing.
- Community Management: Engage with our followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that all interactions are positive and productive.
- Audience Growth: Implement tactics to grow our social media following, increase engagement, and expand the reach of our posts through organic growth strategies and paid promotions.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools. Track key metrics such as engagement rates, follower growth, website traffic, and sales conversions. Adjust strategies as needed based on data-driven insights.
- Brand Voice & Reputation Management: Ensure that NASUAK Garments Ltd’s brand voice is consistent across all social media channels. Protect the brand’s reputation and build a positive online presence through proactive communication and crisis management strategies when necessary.
- Collaborations & Partnerships: Identify opportunities for collaborations with influencers, brand ambassadors, and complementary businesses to expand the reach of NASUAK Garments Ltd.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with current trends, new features, and best practices across all social media platforms. Leverage these trends to keep content fresh, relevant, and engaging.




Qualifications:
1: Education & Experience:
- A degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or Specialist, with a portfolio of previous campaigns or social media profiles managed.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing, and content creation techniques.
2: Skills & Competencies:
- Creative thinker with a strong eye for design, photography, and video editing.
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Knowledge of social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to create compelling copy for various platforms.
- Understanding of social media analytics and performance tracking tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of the garment industry, fashion trends, and customer preferences in Uganda is a plus.
