We specialize in the production of a diverse range of high quality garments and offer an extensive suite of services, including tailoring, embroidery, digitizing, T-shirt printing, and graphic design. Additionally, we provide specialized training courses in various areas such as knitting, bag-making, tailoring, embroidery, and graphic design. As part of our growth and development, we are seeking an IT Expert to join our team and support the company’s technological infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operation of our systems.
Job Overview:
The IT Expert will be responsible for overseeing the company’s technological infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations, enhancing the efficiency of our services, and providing technical support to both staff and customers. This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of IT systems, networks, and software, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and implement IT solutions that improve productivity and service delivery. The IT Expert will also be tasked with ensuring data security, optimizing the use of software applications, and driving technological innovation that aligns with the company’s business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- IT Infrastructure Management:
- Oversee and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, servers, and networks.
- Install and configure hardware and software systems.
- Ensure the smooth operation of all internal and external IT systems, including ERP, inventory management systems, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Maintain and troubleshoot printers, scanners, embroidery machines, and other technical equipment related to production.
- Network and Cybersecurity:
- Develop and implement security protocols to protect company data from unauthorized access, breaches, and cyber threats.
- Conduct regular network and system security audits to identify and address vulnerabilities.
- Ensure the safe storage and backup of critical business and customer data.
- Monitor system performance and initiate improvements to enhance reliability and speed.
- Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide on-demand technical support for staff to troubleshoot software, hardware, and network issues.
- Respond to internal IT service requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Ensure that employees have access to the tools and systems required for their work, including setting up new users, managing permissions, and ensuring the security of sensitive information.
- Software and System Optimization:
- Customize and optimize business systems and software for maximum efficiency (e.g., tailoring and production management systems).
- Integrate new software solutions and tools into the company’s workflow to improve productivity, such as graphic design software (CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator) and embroidery machines.
- Implement process automation and AI tools to enhance the efficiency of manufacturing and administrative functions.
- Training & Development:
- Assist in the development of training materials and offer IT-related training for employees to improve their technical skills.
- Support the training programs for specialized services like embroidery, T-shirt printing, and graphic design by ensuring the technology is working properly and assisting with technical difficulties during courses.
- Hardware and Software Procurement:
- Evaluate and recommend hardware and software purchases based on the company’s needs and budget.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee the procurement of IT-related equipment, ensuring high quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Digital Transformation & Innovation:
- Stay up-to-date with technological advancements and recommend innovative solutions to improve business processes.
- Implement and maintain e-commerce platforms, company website, and digital marketing tools to expand the company’s online presence.
- Explore the potential for AI and machine learning to streamline manufacturing, design, and production.
Technical Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are an added advantage.
- Experience:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT management, system administration, or network management.
- Proven experience in managing and troubleshooting IT infrastructure, including computer hardware, software, networking, and security systems.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, ERP software, and cloud computing solutions.
- Familiarity with CAD software and design programs (such as CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator) used in garment production and graphic design.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or garment company is a strong plus.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.), operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.), and hardware configurations.
- Expertise in managing and configuring servers, routers, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of IT issues relating to garment manufacturing and design, including embroidery machines, printing systems, and graphic design tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PHP, or JavaScript is beneficial for developing or customizing internal applications.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection regulations to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and external vendors.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- A proactive approach to learning and keeping up with technological advancements.

- System Uptime: Ensure 99%+ uptime for all IT systems, networks, and critical software applications.
- Response Time: Meet an average response time of under X hours for internal IT support requests.
- Data Security: Maintain zero data breaches and ensure all sensitive information is securely stored and backed up.
- Innovation: Successfully integrate at least X new technological solutions or upgrades per year that improve operational efficiency.
