NASUAK Garments Ltd is a fast-growing garment making company based Wakiso-Uganda, specializing in a wide variety of garment production with associated services and skilling courses. Our offerings span across various product categories including formal suits, uniforms, African wear, corporate wear, casual wear, sweaters, protective and visibility wear, party wear, kids’ apparel, bags and more. In addition, we offer an array of services such as tailoring, embroidery, T-shirt printing, graphic designing, as well as skill-building courses focused on garment making, embroidery, knitting, making bags, graphic designing and more.
Given our expanding scope of operations, we are looking to hire an energetic, ambitious, dynamic and results-driven Marketing Specialist with great marketing and customer care skills to support our mission of promoting and growing our brand. Key Responsibilities of the Marketing Specialist
- Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct in-depth research to identify trends, consumer preferences, competitors, and new market opportunities within the garment and fashion industry.
- Gather and analyze data on consumer behavior, customer demographics, and market conditions to guide marketing strategies and product development.
- Strategic Planning and Campaign Management
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to increase brand awareness, attract customers, and generate sales across all product and service categories.
- Plan and execute both online and offline marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer expectations.
- Create promotional campaigns for both products (garments, bags, etc.) and services (tailoring, embroidery, training courses, etc.), ensuring maximum engagement.
- Branding and Public Relations
- Strengthen and promote NASUAK Garments Ltd’s brand identity through consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
- Manage media relationships, coordinate public relations efforts, and secure press coverage to elevate the company’s public image.
- Oversee the creation and management of marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, online banners, product catalogs, and social media content.
- Digital Marketing and Online Presence
- Oversee digital marketing efforts across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Ads to reach target audiences and drive traffic.
- Collaborate with the web development team to ensure the company website is user-friendly, informative, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
- Drive the creation of engaging content, including blogs, videos, and infographics, to inform and entertain potential customers while showcasing the company’s expertise and product offerings.
- Customer Engagement and Relationship Management
- Develop and nurture relationships with customers to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction through personalized marketing tactics.
- Manage customer inquiries, feedback, and reviews on digital platforms, ensuring excellent customer service and support.
- Track customer engagement and retention metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and optimize strategies as necessary.
- Sales and Revenue Growth
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify and develop sales opportunities, creating promotional strategies to drive conversions.
- Monitor sales performance and provide insights to ensure marketing activities are aligned with revenue goals.
- Event Management and Promotions
- Plan and organize marketing events, product launches, and fashion shows that showcase NASUAK Garments Ltd’s product range and services.
- Coordinate with external partners for joint promotions and collaborative marketing initiatives to expand reach and visibility.
- Training and Development of Marketing Team
- If applicable, lead and train junior marketing staff, interns, or external agencies, ensuring that the marketing team has the skills and tools necessary to succeed.

Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for the position of Marketing Specialist at NASUAK Garments Ltd, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Fashion, or any other related field.
- Additional certifications or training in digital marketing, social media management, or other relevant areas are a plus.
- Experience
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the garments, fashion, retail chain businesses and service industry.
- Experience in handling multi-channel marketing campaigns, including both online (social media, email marketing, SEO, PPC) and offline methods (events, print advertising).
- Skills and Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content.
- Proficiency in using digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, etc.) and social media platforms.
